It's been a long time!!

It has been such a long time since I posted last that I almost forgot my username and password to get into my blog. I vow to get better once the summer is here.  Why I think I will have more time this summer is beyond me...I guess it just sounds good. ha!

Anyway, here are a TON of pictures from over the past couple of months:
This is Mikayla and her friend at their first grade music program which was a jungle theme.

Here is Keeley hunting eggs at the annual city egg hunt.

She didn't care if this kid dropped his egg, she was going after it and taking it.

After the egg hunt, I had to stop by target and she stayed out in the car with Frankie.  I think the egg hunt pooped her out because she fell asleep on the pizza box.

Keeley was excited about our bunny cake

Decorating eggs!

Keeley and I traveled up the road to my parents house for the weekend and had soo much fun.  During the day, mom and I took her downtown to the beauty salon so she could partake in the whole "Feather" trend that is going around with girls across the country:)  To be honest, I am kind of over it and ready for the thing to fall out.

Mikayla ended her soccer season and the team finished in 2nd place.  They lost in the championship game, but it was SUPER close!  They did soo great and we are really proud of them.

VERY similar story for Yasmine!  She finished her Volleyball season and the team ended up with the 2nd place prize after losing a really close match during the championship game.

Sooooo, we are taking a family trip in a couple of weeks and the girls and I wanted a few new clothes for the trip.  I decided I needed to teach my girls a lesson and let them know that if we wanted new clothes, we had to WORK for it.  We all did a deep cleaning of the house over the past couple of weeks and found stuff we wanted to put in a garage sale.  I told them we could use the money from the garage sale to buy our new clothes.  I was really proud of Yasmine because that girl spent an entire night cleaning her room out and getting things ready for the garage sale. We had planned to have the sale for two days, but we were rained out the first day (no tears from me!)  The second day we had a pretty decent turn out and now we are ready to go shopping!  THANK YOU MOM for helping me!!!

Our items spread out over the driveway:)

Yasmine auditioned to be the MC in the school talent show and she got the part!

The Flower Girl!

Last night, Keeley was the flowergirl in AJ and Traci's wedding!  The wedding was beautiful and Keeley was soo excited to be in her princess dress.  The girls especially had fun at the wedding reception.  They danced from the time the music started until it was time to go home!

The happy couple!  I was disappointed that this picture came out soo dark!

This is Emily and Patrick who use to be part of the Direct Effect crew!

This girl was gettin' DOWN at the wedding dance!

Keeley Turned 4!

Keeley turned four years old last week! I can't believe how the time flies by. The weekend before her birthday, her Grandma and Papa came to visit and brought goodies for our little four year old....books, IXL games and an ADORABLE pink and purple princess cake.

Her actual birthday was during the week, so I took a half day off and we had a wonderful day. For lunch, we stopped by McDonald's and picked up food so that we could surprise Yasmine by having lunch with her at school. Yasmine was super excited to see us. I am not sure if she was more excited to see us, or the McDonald's that we brought her:) After that, I took Keeley to the nail salon to get her nails done and to finish our afternoon, we went to the Justin Bieber movie. Why a four year old wanted to go see the Justin Bieber movie is beyond me...but she loved it!

Opening presents from her Mommy and Daddy!

It's the toy story JESSIE DOLL she has been wanting!!

Pack The Place Pink

Last night I took the girls to the OU vs. Texas women's basketball game and it was "Pack The Place Pink" night which was in honor of breast cancer awareness.  OU wore their special "pink" uniforms and there was a pink shirt on every seat in the stadium.  I didn't buy any pre-sale tickets and just figured I would buy us general admission tickets at the door.  Well, we got the tickets but when we walked in, the place was LITERALLY packed in pink.  Finding four seats together was nearly impossible.  Sooo, I worked my magic and got us fourth row seats behind the band and cheerleaders.  We had such a fun time!

Our favorite player #25 Whitney Hand

Gooo Whitney!  She reminds me soo much of Nicki, a girl I played with in College.

Gooooo OU!

The girls wanted to sleep in their shirts they got at the game.  They are just a tiny bit too big, but perfect for a nightgown!

It's been a pretty busy month, so below are some pictures I have taken over the past couple of weeks!

This was on Valentine's Day.  The girls each got a basket full of goodies with these giant lips suckers.
Keeley had a Valentine's Day program at school. It wasn't until this program that I realized how "BIG" Keeley is compared to the other kids!  She is soo tall!

Last weekend, I went to Traci and AJ's wedding shower.  Keeley is going to be a flower girl at the wedding and she is really excited about it!  Below is a picture of the happy couple!
