Dory's Wedding

Today was a very special day!  One of my BFF's said "I Do!".  I am soo blessed she asked me to be a part of her special day!

Work in KC and suprise visit with my sister!

I came to KC for work and my flight to come back home was booked for this morning. I didn't tell my sister I was in town for the day and I decided to call her and surprise her!  When I called her, I asked her where she was.  She told me she was able to leave work early and was sitting at home. I was not happy because the whole time I was sitting in the parking lot of her work waiting to surprise her. OH well, she was still surprised that I was in town and we had a lot of fun last night!  We went to Starbucks, Oak Park Mall and we even went to a movie. We finally saw THE HELP and it was a really good movie.

Keeley's 1st Soccer Game

Today was Keeley's 1st Soccer game and she was a BEAST!  She did awesome. She scored 8 goals and then I stopped counting!

Weekend in Caldwell

This weekend we all went to Caldwell to help Mom and Dad with the metal detecting hunt! It also happened to be the same weekend Caldwell was hosting the Chisholm Trail festival and the 150th anniversary of the cattle drive... so there was a lot of fun stuff going on! It was great seeing my Sister and having the cousins get a chance to hang out!

 

Yasmine's 10th Birthday Party-Hawaiian Luau!

Last night we had a fun night celebrating Yasmine's 10th Birthday.  We started out the evening at the Trails Country Club Swimming Pool for a Hawaiian Luau and we finished the evening with a sleepover at our house!  This was the first week of school and it must have worn the girls out because they were all KONKED OUT by 1AM!  Lucky me!!

Keeley's 1st day of Pre-K!!

I can't believe my little baby is officially in Pre-K! **sniffle, sniffle**  She is all grown up. Below are pics from her first day. 

Birthdays!

July and August are full of birthdays for our family!  Yasmine turned the big "10" on Monday and it was also my Mom's birthday too!  Yasmine is having her big party this weekend with her friends, but we did a little early celebrating with our family by going to her favorite restaurant: Genghis Grill!

Happy Birthday to Yasmine and Happy Birthday to my MOM!   I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Free Movie Night at the Park!

Last night I took the girls to the Marc Heitz "Movie under the Stars" where they were showing "Evan Almighty", which is one of Yasmine's favorite movies.  Can't beat a free movie and free popcorn!

Keeley-The Educator

This is going to make Papa and Aunt Nicole proud.  I found Keeley playing teacher with all of her "students" lined up against the wall. She read them a book and then they had music time! 

Back To School Night

Tonight was "Back To School" night at Keeley's school and she had a chance to meet her Pre-K teacher Mrs. Baker!  She is really excited to start the new school year in a new room with a new teacher!

Still here!

WELL, it's been two months since I last posted on this blog.  After visiting Kansas City this past weekend and recieving a few verbal lashings from about 18 different people about my blog not being updated, I have decided I am going to try and do a better job! :) 

June- Keeley got her first haircut!

July-Frankie and I celebrated our birthdays!  Since our birthdays are so close together, we usually share a cake every year and this year, it was a Lakers cake.  I think Frankie really liked it:) We also went to the Japanese Steakhouse for dinner.

August-we traveled to Kansas City to help my sister celebrate her 40th birthday! 

It's been a fun summer!  Now school starts next week!!!!
