Lawton Water Park

On Saturday, we drove to Lawton to Frankie's parents house and took the kids to the Comanche Nation Water Park. The girls had a BLAST!! They wouldn't let cameras inside, but I managed to sneak my camera in for one picture so you could catch a glimpse of the water park:) They had a big lazy river, a huge wave pool, two monsterous slides (which you see in the picture below) and a kiddie pool with three different smaller slides. I wish I could have taken more pictures!

A FUN DAY OFF!

I took the day off from work today so I could spend some more time with Cass and Dylan (my niece and nephew) before they leave tomorrow. We had a SUPER BUSY day, but it was a lot of fun! We started the day off by doing a little shopping at the $1 Jewelry Galore store. I wanted to take Cass there so she could pick out a couple of things. If you have never been to one of these stores, you are missing out:) The place is full of jewelry that only cost a dollar a piece. It isn't exactly your high-class, made-to-last jewelry, but they do actually have some pretty cute stuff:) They also have a lot of cute handbags and sunglasses, but those items have a higher price tag than a dollar...but still very affordable!

This is Cass anxiously awaiting to go into the $1 store.

After our shopping extravaganza, (I think we spent a whopping $5.00 at the $1 jewelery store), we headed to the nail salon to get pedicures.
Next on the list...El Chico's for lunch! This day just gets better and better:)

Mom and Cass

After a day of shopping, beauty and yummy mexican food, we were parched so we hit up happy hour at Sonic and got half price drinks:)

While we were doing all these fun girly things, Dylan spent time with Uncle Frankie and went to work with him for a couple of hours. I felt bad that we left him out, so I packed all the kids up in the car and took them to the splash pad.

After the splash pad, Frankie decided he would grill burgers and hot dogs for us.

After dinner, we did a little photo shoot outside in front of our fountain.
Keeley sure loves her cousins! We are sad they are leaving tomorrow, but sooo happy they got to come down for a couple of days and spend some time with us!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANKIE!

Happy Birthday Hubby! I can't believe you are turning 29...AGAIN:) HA! We love you bunches and bunches!!

So far, we have had a pretty fun-filled day. My parents came down with my niece and nephew and they are staying until Tuesday. We are soooo excited to have them here. We took them to the lake this afternoon and had a great time tubing and swimming. We just got home and my Mom had made Frankie homemade chicken noodles and mashed potatoes for dinner...one of his favorite meals! YUMMY!

Look at that handsome fella!

POPS on route 66

We decided to have a girls night out for dinner, so we invited our friend Diane and we went and tried out POPS on the historic route 66. POPS is a gas station, restaurant, shake shop, gift shop, convenience store and event venue all in one! It has a huge 66 foot soda pop bottle out in front of the restaurant which is pretty cool. They also have every imaginable type of soda you can think of...hence, the name "POPS" !! If you are ever in Oklahoma, you should check this historic landmark out!

The Mystery

***WARNING, the word "poop" is used like 50 times in this post! Read at your own Risk***

We had an interesting evening at the Parks residence. Keeley and I decided we would make cupcakes tonight. It was really random and we didn't have anything special to celebrate, but Keeley (wink, wink) OK, Mommy, was just in the mood for them. During our cupcake making process, Keeley said she had to go potty, so I told her to go to the bathroom and get on the potty. One minute later, I walked into the bathroom and she had pooped on the floor an inch away from the toilet. Ok, whatever, it's not like I have never cleaned up her poop before. So, after we got everything cleaned up and finished baking our cupcakes, we were getting ready for bed and Keeley said, "Mommy! What is this?" and she showed me her hands. There was poop on her hands! I hurried her into the bathroom again and got her cleaned up. I figured she had pooped her pants and it was leaking out and she got some on her hands. I went to take her undies off and there was no poop in sight! CRAP! (literally!) This has to mean there is a possibility that poop is laying around somewhere in the living room of my house and I have no idea where it is! I have searched high and low for the poop and I have no idea how she got it on her hands. I probably won't get a wink of sleep worrying about the mysterious poop!

Playdate with Preston

Since I didn't have to work on Friday, I took Keeley over to my friend Elaina's house so she could play with Preston. Keeley was in heaven. She jumped on the trampolene, swam in the pool and climbed all over the playset! She was ready for a good nap after that visit:)
