Girl's Day

The one thing about being a full time working mother, is it makes you appreciate your days off and being able to spend time with your girls just that much more!:)  While Frankie was at work, we decided to have a girl's day out.  We had lunch at Chili's, then went to the movies to see Yogi Bear.  Later in the evening, Frankie took us to the OU women's basketball game.  We had a really fun and busy day!

I wish these two got along this well all the time:)

Go Sooners!

The upper sections were empty, so we sat at the top and let the girls pick their own seats.  I love this picture.  I wonder what she is thinking while she is watching the game!

Christmas 2010

We had another wonderful Christmas, but it seems like it went by waaaay too fast!

Christmas Eve:  The girls were wrapping presents for Frankie's parents.

These were our yummy goodies for Christmas:  Christmas Tree cupcakes, puppy chow and white chocolate chex mix.

Every Christmas Eve, the girls get to open one present.  Here they are anxiously awaiting to open their one present.

They opened their presents and they each got a pair of earmuffs.

We had our annual Christmas Eve dinner at "On The Border"!!!!

A beautiful picture around the "On The Border" Christmas Tree.

The second we got home from eating, the girls slipped into their Christmas PJ's.

Frankie and I wore our Christmas PJ's too:) Doesn't he look excited?

Getting the milk and cookies ready for Santa!

Yasmine had to arrange the cookies just perfect!

They also put out food and water for Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer.

SANTA CAME!!!!!!!!

Santa brought them each a Monster High doll!

Yasmine got her luggage she wanted!

Mikayla got her doll she wanted!

Here I am modeling my new purse my Hubby picked out for me!

Keeley got an IXL and hasn't put that thing down since she opened it!

Daddy got an ipad and he and Keeley are addicted to their new electronic devices. I found them both perched up against the bed, Frankie on his ipad and Keeley on her iXL.

Here they are two days after Christmas and they are still addicted to their electronic devices.

CHRISTMAS TIME!

As of 2PM today, I officially went on Christmas vacation!  I have all next week off, so I am looking forward to a nice break from work!!  I would say I am looking forward to sleeping in, but for some reason, when I have a chance to sleep in, those are the days I am awake at the butt crack of dawn.

Sooo, it has been awhile since I have blogged and it has been a pretty exciting month!  Frankie accepted the Director position at ODECC (Oklahoma Diagnostic and Evaluation Center for Children).  I am really excited for him and I am a proud wifey:)  I know he is going to do a great job and so far he is really liking his job.

In mid-December, we traveled to Kansas City to attend the Plattform Christmas party and it worked out great because the next day, we were able to have our family Christmas at my sister's house!  It was a FANTASTIC weekend!

Below are pics from the past couple of weeks:

A nice visit on Santa's Lap.  On her wish list?  A Monster High Doll.  (Only because she heard her sisters say that is what they wanted!)

I took this picture of Keeley right before we left to go to her Christmas Program at school and then I laid down the camera on the table.  Long story short, we left for the program and the camera was still on the table...soooo I have no pictures of her actual Christmas program.  AND, to top it off, Frankie and I both left our phones at home too, so we coulnd't even take a picture with our phone!

The girls in front of our tree!

Family Christmas at my sister's house!

Grandma and Papa got Mikayla her Paper Jamz guitar she had been wanting!

Playing with the Furry Frenzy play city from aunt Nicole!
Hopefully I won't go another month without blogging:)  Since I am off work all next week, I don't have an excuse:)  I will make sure to do another post soon!

Lot's of catching up to do!

I figured I better not let an entire month go by without blogging, otherwise, I will hear it from my sister!  I haven't posted since Halloween, so I have lots of catching up to do!

First on the list: Annual Girls Weekend! In early November, my Mom and I drove to Kansas City to my sister's for our second annual girls weekend. Click here to read about our first "Girls" weekend. It was a great time! We stayed in a nice hotel downtown and had lots of fun walking around down at the Plaza and eating lots of good food:) I was also super excited because I got to see my nephew play in his last football game of the season! He did awesome and even scored a two point conversion! Here are some pics:

We had to order dessert from room service!

We walked through the "Link" to get to Crown Center

We had to start the morning off with Coffee, but there wasn't a Starbucks close by, so we had to settle for a latte from Sheridans.

Mmmm...yummy!

We spotted Richard Simmons at the Plaza.  He gave me a nice big wave for the camera!

Nice hat, huh?

Next on the list:  Trip to Cancun!  Frankie and I met our friends, Adam and Tamiko, in Cancun for a couple of days of fun in the sun!  Unfortunately, there was only one day where the sun was really out in full force.  The rest of the time it was mostly cloudy.  It didn't ruin our fun though!  We stayed at the ME Cancun resort, which was pretty nice!  Pics from our trip are below:

Pics of our room.  It had a very modern decor.

La Isla Shopping Area

Frankie stading in from of our hotel!

They had these cool beds put out along the beach.

We had dinner at Jimmy Buffett's Margartiaville and Adam ordered this monsterous display of food.

I have no idea what this statue is, I just thought it would be a good photo op.

Getting ready for a night out on the town!

My hunky husband!

I thought this picture was cool of Frankie snapping his reflection in the sand.

This guy was set up at one of shopping areas, so we snapped a few pics with him.

Frankie at the aquarium.

This was the Chrismas Tree at the airport in Cancun.

Hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving!
