Pack The Place Pink

Last night I took the girls to the OU vs. Texas women's basketball game and it was "Pack The Place Pink" night which was in honor of breast cancer awareness.  OU wore their special "pink" uniforms and there was a pink shirt on every seat in the stadium.  I didn't buy any pre-sale tickets and just figured I would buy us general admission tickets at the door.  Well, we got the tickets but when we walked in, the place was LITERALLY packed in pink.  Finding four seats together was nearly impossible.  Sooo, I worked my magic and got us fourth row seats behind the band and cheerleaders.  We had such a fun time!

Our favorite player #25 Whitney Hand

Gooo Whitney!  She reminds me soo much of Nicki, a girl I played with in College.

Gooooo OU!

The girls wanted to sleep in their shirts they got at the game.  They are just a tiny bit too big, but perfect for a nightgown!

It's been a pretty busy month, so below are some pictures I have taken over the past couple of weeks!

This was on Valentine's Day.  The girls each got a basket full of goodies with these giant lips suckers.
Keeley had a Valentine's Day program at school. It wasn't until this program that I realized how "BIG" Keeley is compared to the other kids!  She is soo tall!

Last weekend, I went to Traci and AJ's wedding shower.  Keeley is going to be a flower girl at the wedding and she is really excited about it!  Below is a picture of the happy couple!

Mikayla's Birthday Party!

This weekend we celebrated Mikayla's birthday!!  We had a "basketball" themed birthday party and took 9 little girls to the OU women's basketball game vs. Iowa State.  It was a great game and very intese towards the end, but the OU women pulled it off!

We had an awesome time at the game.  The girls were on the jumbo-tron at least three different times and we had a special "Happy Birthday" message to Mikayla on the jumbo-tron as well at half time.  After the game, the girls were able to go down on the court and shoot baskets which was really exciting for them.  They could hardly wait to get out there and hoop it up!

Two of the OU Cheerleaders brought her a gift!

Her special "Happy Birthday" message on the jumbo tron!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKAYLA!!!!!!

Back in Business!

I can now upload pictures to my computer again!

At the end of January, one of my dearest friends Dory came to visit for the weekend with her boyfriend Jeff.  We had a lot of fun shopping, going out to eat, seeing a movie and BOWLING!  Here are a few pics from our fun weekend:

Thanks for coming to visit us Dory!  I miss you bunches:)

Pictures soon!

Someone (as in myself, Frankie, Keeley, Mikayla or Yasmine...not sure who!) stepped on the cord to my camera and bent part of the metal on the USB cord so I can't connect my camera to the computer to download any pictures.  I have lots of pics to post, such as my fun weekend with Dory and also Mikayla's birthday party, so I'm on the hunt for a new cord this weekend and will have pictures up very soon!

First EVER basketball game!

Today was Keeley's first basketball game!  I sure hope she grows up to love the sport as much as her Mommy and Daddy:)  She went out on the court and was fearless and ready to play:)  She scored five baskets and we were soo proud of her!

In the huddle!!

The picture is a little blurry, but here she is making a little jump shot:)

2010 Re-Cap

I was going back through my blog and reading posts from last year, and noticed that I did a 'Year In Review' post last January, so I thought I should do another one!  We are already 10 days into the new year, but better late than never!

January-Keeley started the year off going to a new school that is right across the street from my office!

February-Mikayla and Keeley celebrated their birthdays and I went back to my ol' stomping grounds to a college reunion with my old basketball teammates!

March-I took a whole week of work off and Keeley and I went to Kansas City and stayed with my sister!

April-My mother and I drove to Stillwater to The Pioneer Woman's book signing!  Frankie and I also saw the OKC Thunder whip up on the Lakers.

May- We had a tornado rip through and get in a fight with our fence.  Keeley had her "end of school" carnival and I started and FINISHED my landscaping project in front of the house.

June- Summer finally began!  We also celebrated a nice Father's Day with Frankie!

July- Oh wow, this was a busy month.  I saw the Governator while on a business trip to Sacramento; We took a "staycation" in OKC ; We drove back home to Kansas so the girls could ride in the parade with my Dad; Mikayla's t-ball team won the championship; Frankie and I celebrated birthdays, AND finally, we discovered a great new park in town!

August-We took a trip to Kansas City, Yasmine had a "salon" birthday party, the girls started school and we got a new grill after the tornado had taken ours away!

September- we went to our first OU volleyball game and we spent a lot of time watching football and enjoying the nice weather with cookouts.

October- This was another busy month!  My first trip to Chicago; Two of my very best friends came to stay the weekend with me; I went to my HS homecoming; the girls started Fall basketball; Frankie and the girls went to the WWE event in OKC!

November- We had our second annual girls weekend, had a run in with Richard Simmons, Frankie and I celebrated our anniversary in Cancun and the girls looked cute for Halloween.

December- We had another WONDERFUL Christmas and attended our very first OU women's basketball game.

ANOTHER GREAT YEAR!

Nice Weekend

We have had a pretty nice weekend so far! I am still trying to get over a cold that started last week, but I am feeling much better. Yasmine had a birthday party to attend on Saturday evening, so we told Mikayla she could have a friend come over. They were having soo much fun that Mikayla asked if her friend could stay the night, so we ended up having a sleepover!

This was our last quiet weekend before the chaos starts:)  All three girls will start their winter basketball seasons next week.  Yes, I said all three girls.  (Can you believe they have a basketball league for Keeley's age group?)  It is going to be a lot of fun to watch, but will definitely keep us busy for the next couple of months!!
