Can we have a Do-Over?

I was just wondering if we could take today and have a "Do-Over".  First, I got my butt out of the house and drove to Starbucks.  They were closed.  Because of the weather.  Mind you there is a "dusting" of snow, but that is about it right now.  (not to say more snow isn't coming...because it is snowing right now, but give me a break Starbucks people.)  So I thought I would drive a little bit further and see if the other Starbucks was open.  Call it an addiction, I don't care.  Well, guess what.  They were closed too.  Funny because the ICE CREAM shop located one block down the street remained open, but my beloved Starbucks who serves nice warm deliciousness was closed.  I decided to give it up and go to Homeland (grocery) because we all wanted something sweet at the house, and what better way to cure a sweet tooth craving then a cookie-cake.  Well of course, they wouldn't have any cookie-cakes because that is just how my day was going.  And to TOP IT ALL OFF, the freakin' Jayhawks just lost.

Photo Shoot at the Water Fountain

How can it be 70 degrees outside right now and the forecast for tomorrow be 8 inches of snow and 35 degrees?

It was really nice out so we went for a family walk and stopped by the waterfall which is at the entrance of our housing addition.  Frankie had his iphone with him, so we all figured we would start posing for the camera!

Spring Break

This week Keeley's daycare was closed for Spring Break, so Mommy took the WHOLE week off!  Whoo-hoo:)  We contemplated heading to South Padre to party with the college kids, but I didn't think that would snag me the "Mother of The Year" award, so we decided against it.:)
We started the week off by leaving on Friday and hitching a ride with my parents to Kansas City to see Aunt Nicole, Uncle Mike, Cass and Dylan.  We had lots of fun, but the time always flies by waay too fast.  Uncle Mike built this adorable crib for Keeley's new Biddy Baby and one of my sister's friends made the bedding.  I thought it was soo cute!

Here are a few pics from our trip in KC:

Starbucks Time!

Riding the horses with Cousin Cass at the OakPark Mall

Playing at the Mall some more...Geesh...who needs Disney World when you have the Mall playground and the Burger King playset.  My child enjoys cheap entertainment!

Eating at Chick-fil-A with her cousins Cass and Dylan!

The Chick-Fil-A playset may give Burger King a run for their money...

Keeley loves her cousin Cass!

On our last night in KC, we went to the Matt Ross Community Center which has an indoor mini-waterpark.  Here is Dylan shooting hoops.

Keeley loves her cousin Dylan!

Yes, that is me.  I went down the big waterslide three times.  LOVED. IT.

Like Mother, Like Daughter.  Keeley loved her slide too!

She was all about putting her head in the water and blowing bubbles.

After the swimming, Aunt "Cole" took us to get ice cream.  GREAT IDEA SISTER!

The best sister in the world.  I love you!

TOTAL catching up to do!

Sooo, it has been about 10 years since my last post.  Sorry about that.  I just realized that I never posted pictures from when my parents were here and from our little family birthday party we had for Keeley.  Mom and Dad brought her the cutest "pink monkey" cake.  They also got her a biddy baby.  It only took about 2 hours before she stepped on it and popped the babies head off...but no worries, we tied that sucker back on and it was as good as new.

Happy Birthday To My Baby Girl!

Our baby girl turned 3 years old today!!  Happy Birthday Keeley-Bear!

It was a little quiet around our house since we didn't have Yasmine and Mikayla this weekend to celebrate with us, but that's OK, because we have a Chuck E. Cheese outing planned for next weekend when Sissies are with us and Grandma and Papa are here to visit!

For Keeley's special day, we woke up bright and early and made our usual weekend trip to the donut shop.  After we ate breakfast, Keeley was anxiously awaiting to open her presents!

A floor mat to color on!

A princess art set!

She got her very own PINK basketball, which I am sure I will find mysteriously hidden in the kitchen pantry when her sisters get here.  For some reason, she likes to store her most prized possessions in with the green beans and other various canned vegetables so no one else will touch her beloved toys.

And Finally...a new princess BIKE!

Now I know you might find this weird...but all Keeley really wanted to do for her birthday was go to our local Burger King and play on their huge playset.  She also had fun pretending to drive a race car as you can see below.

You might ALSO find it weird that she wanted me to bake her a PINK spiderman birthday cake.  Well...her wish was my command.

Happy Birthday Keeley!  Mommy and Daddy love you SOOOOOOOOOO much!

Keeley's Birthday Party at School

Keeley has been patiently waiting for this day!  The day that Mommy and Daddy would come to her school and actually stay with her for awhile.  With Keeley's birthday being on Sunday and the fact they don't have school tomorrow due to parent/teacher conferences, we decided today would be the day that we brought cupcakes and treats for her to share with her new friends at her school.  She was beyond excited.  She kept telling me she loved me and was acting silly, which she usually does when she is happy.  Frankie and I showed up with Tinkerbell plates/napkins as well as cupcakes, cookies and capri suns.  Boy, do we know how to sugar those kids up.

Cheeeese!

Imagine that...MY daugther likes to play with purses at playtime! I hope she doesn't grow up to have a purse obsession like her Mother.

Basketball games and Birthday parties

From Yasmine and Mikayla's point of view...this was like the BEST Saturday.  EVER.

We started the day out with three basketball games.  Both Yasmine and Mikayla had their regularly scheduled games which happened to be at the SAME exact time this week.

How did Frankie coach both teams at the same time, you ask?  Well, he ended up coaching Yasmine's team until half time and then ran to the other court and traded places with the assistant coach and took over Mikayla's game for her second half.

After that was over...Mikayla had ANOTHER game which was a make up game from the week we got snowed out.  We were soo proud of our girls.  Yasmine got out their and roughed it up with the boys and Mikayla shocked us all by scoring 14 points!  I think they finally got bit by the competitive bug.

After Mikayla's last game, we had approximately 20 minutes to go home, get changed and head to the skating rink where we had Mikayla's birthday party!  After lots of skating and cupcakes, we finally headed home, but the fun is no where near to being done:)  Yasmine and Mikayla each have a friend staying over tonight, so they are completely off the walls excited.  Here are some pictures so far from our fun evening.
